The Name Above All Other Names
We can wonder ... what's in a name
Of the importance that's behind it all
The foundation and the significance
Within the meaning, whether great or small
The wondrous name that can save, heal, and help
Belongs to the man that our God became
Once we realize that important connection
Our lives are changed, and we're never the same
The voice that spoke from a burning bush
That spoke to Moses, was the Great I Am
Revealed to earth in the man named Jesus
No greater name has been revealed to man
Before Jesus came, God's name was a secret
Referred by titles, but what was His name
The great name that was above every name
Was in the man, that Our God later became
That great name that was above all other names
Had spread around the world, like a raging fire
Whether we're a believer, or an unbeliever
His name is great; and none other is higher
Jesus name is a strong and mighty tower
And the righteous can run into it
There is no other name given among men
That before time, to all men had been hid
There is great power in the name of Jesus
And there is life, for all who will believe
Such wonders lie behind that great name
Which all of us are needing to receive
Jesus is waiting for you, and for me
To call upon Him, to make all things right
No other name, but the name of Jesus
Through all our days, and into our night
