Come & Diners is the means whereby people attending Spirit of Life get to know each other better and become closer as a church family. A meal or dessert is shared in each other’s homes or at a restaurant.
WHY A FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY?
- To follow the Biblical command that we are to love one another deeply. We need to know one another for us to love one another.
- To obey His Word by practicing hospitality.
- To get new people incorporated into the Spirit of Life Bible Church family. This ministry can also provide a great way for new people to develop new friendships within the church.
HOW DOES COME & DINERS WORK?

All people attending Spirit of Life Bible Church at least 18 years old, married or single, are eligible.

Groups of six to eight people meet monthly.

Each month new groups will be formed.

Each group will have a coordinator and a host, everyone sharing these responsibilities equally by a rotation system.

The coordinator’s job is to make sure the group meets sometime that month and make sure a few guidelines are followed.

The host of the group for that month is to host the event in their home. However, if they are not able to do this for any reason, the group can meet in a restaurant. (We do not want anyone who would like to participate in this ministry to meet new people decline to sign up because they aren’t able to host an event in their home.)

There are many different options for handling the food in a home, including pot-luck, dessert only, and "Fast Food Sunday," all explained in the "How To" Manual.
